The Hillside Avenue Historic District runs 27 acres between Watchung and Martine, holding some of the finest turn-of-the-century architecture in Union County. We are the neighbors who look after it.
Events on the avenue

The district lit end to end, and the Association’s annual fundraiser — proceeds go to the Starfish Food Pantry.
A neighborhood gathering hosted on the avenue, and a guided look at several of the district’s finest interiors.

Following the 2019–20 historic street-sign campaign, the Association is planning markers telling the story of individual houses.
