The Hillside Avenue Historic District runs 27 acres between Watchung and Martine, holding some of the finest turn-of-the-century architecture in Union County. We are the neighbors who look after it.

November – January
Plainfield Luminaries

The district lit end to end, and the Association’s annual fundraiser — proceeds go to the Starfish Food Pantry.

Spring – Summer
Spring Social & House Tour

A neighborhood gathering hosted on the avenue, and a guided look at several of the district’s finest interiors.

February – April
Annual Meeting

Business of the district: officers, preservation issues, city matters, and block projects. Open to all members.
